Cupertino city leaders to answer emergency prep questions

The COVID-19 pandemic and raging wildfires have forced every West Valley family to adapt their lives in unprecedented ways.

While traditional emergency planning got a crash implementation this year, ongoing efforts remain essential for resident safety.

Cupertino City Manager Deb Feng and Emergency Services Coordinator Tom Chin will answer resident questions on emergency management this Friday.

They will discuss how the city’s Office of Emergency Services has responded to the pandemic and wildfires. Discussion will also include how families can get themselves ready for earthquakes, wildfires, and other disasters.

The ‘Mornings with the Manager’ event is Friday, September 18, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Residents can submit questions in advance by emailing the city here.
