Pair of West Valley habitat restoration series kick off

With rainy weather coming to our region this week, vegetation cleanup and habitat restoration enters a new season. Grassroots Ecology, a local non-profit with a lengthy history of hosting habitat restoration events, is hosting a number of events in coming weeks to help get our natural landscape in order.

These events, running from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on the following Wednesdays, are good for those looking for a slower pace and a more detailed approach to restoration.

Parking is available in the main gravel parking lot at the Preserve, 1530 Arastradero Rd.
