While many colleges and universities around the country are considering dropping SAT / ACT testing requirements for admissions – or have already dropped the requirement already, the standardized tests are still a necessity for the majority of four-year schools.
To help West Valley high school students prepare for what can be a stressful experience, Northside Branch Library in Santa Clara, 695 Moreland Way, is hosting a practice exam this weekend.
Meant to simulate an actual test-taking experience, attendees will need to arrive on time, with 3 x #2 pencils and a calculator.
Advanced registration is required, in the name of the test taker, and attendees can choose which test on the day of the exam.
This practice testing, sponsored by Zenith Tutoring, is only open to those in grades 9-12. It is set for Saturday, November 30. Attendees should arrive by 10:15 a.m. as doors close at 10:30 a.m. Testing runs through 3 p.m.
