Saratoga Wine Stroll & Tree Lighting Friday evening

Holiday season is in full swing with Thanksgiving fast approaching this week, Black Friday sales crowding shopping centers across the country on Friday morning, and Christmas music blaring from speakers and radios everywhere.

To offer a bit of a relaxing reprieving from Black Friday’s mania, the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Holiday Wine Stroll and City Tree Lighting Ceremony this Friday, November 29.

The event, which starts at the Chamber’s office, 14460 Big Basin Way, will feature tastings of more than 40 wines, horse-drawn carriage rides, caroling of holiday music, and numerous activities for children including pictures with Santa.

A performance by the Los Gatos Ballet, free photo kiosk, and a history exhibit at the Saratoga History Museum will provide lots of entertainment in addition to the shopping available at local stores – many of which will have extended shopping hours.

Friday’s wine stroll begins at 5 p.m. and runs through 8 p.m. The Tree Lighting Ceremony is at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are available now for $45, rising to $55 the day of the event – if any remain.
