Local Rotary Clubs kick off holiday giving this December

Throughout the year, Rotary Club members support individuals, families, seniors, and veterans in need through collaboration with local non-profits and communities. Despite the ongoing pandemic, Rotary Clubs across the South Bay have organized events and activities throughout the month of December to help their neighbors this holiday season.

Rotary Club of Cupertino:

  • Dec. 4, 2021 & Dec. 11, 2021: Operation Snowflake in partnership with Via Services
    1:00pm-4:00pm
    Operation Snowflake provides snow sledding for over 200 kids and teens with special needs and their families.  More than 100 volunteers and Rotarians will craft 13 tons of snow into a sled run. The day includes snacks, music, and fun activities. For more information about Via Services, visit their website at https://viaservices.org
  • Dec. 11, 2021: Gifts of Hope Program gift delivery
    Cupertino Rotary has partnered with West Valley Community Services (https://www.wvcommunityservices.org/gift-of-hope). West Valley Community Services has over 800 men, women, and children benefiting from our holiday programs this year. Cupertino Rotarians have donated to the Gift of Hope and is sponsoring over 50 families.

Rotary Club of Santa Clara

  • Dec. 9, 2021: Merry Little Christmas Drive Thru
    1840 Benton Street, Santa Clara; 5:30pm-9:00pm
    The Merry Little Christmas Drive Thru is open to all community members. Club members and volunteers will distribute toys and goodies to families in need.
  • Dec. 7, 2021: Christmas4Kids
    The Rotary Club of Santa Clara partnered with Amazon Wish List to make it easy for people to buy new gifts for kids in need. Simply shop online before Dec. 7, 2021 using this link and items will be delivered directly to the Rotary’s Warehouse. Santa will deliver the gifts to 125 underserved kids in the Santa Clara school district on Dec. 9, 2021.
