The City of Cupertino is hosting a farewell event this Friday for City Manager Deb Feng, who announced her resignation on May 27, 2021. Deb served 3 years with the City, and was recognized during her tenure by former Cupertino Mayor Steven Scharf for embracing ‘openness and transparency’, and by current mayor Darcy Paul for her ‘tireless and constituent efforts’ while coordinating the city’s response to COVID-19. She was named a 2021 Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
Greg Larson will assume his new position as Interim City Manager on July 14, 2021, and will be working closely with Feng to ensure a smooth transition.
The farewell event will be held on Friday, June 25 at 3PM at Community Hall at 10350 Torre Avenue.
