The series of League of Women Voters of Cupertino-Sunnyvale voter education forums continues in Sunnyvale Wednesday evening.
Candidates for the Sunnyvale City Council’s Fourth District, which includes the city’s southeast corner neighborhoods.
Two candidates – Paul Joseph LeSevic-Campos and Russ Melton – will participate in the forum. It is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, running on Zoom.
The event follows a September forum between the city’s mayoral candidates. That event, where Mayor Larry Klein, Vice Mayor Nancy Smith, and Councilmember Michael Goldman is available here.
Candidates for District 6 shared their visions in early October. Video of that event is available here. Similarly, candidates for District 2 met for a forum October 14. Video of that conversation is available here.
Sunnyvale’s City Council will see a number of new faces after the election, given that Smith and Goldman are forfeiting their chances to run for reelection to the council – opting instead to run for Mayor.
