The famed local attraction, Winchester Mystery House, continues working to adapt to the reality of COVID-19.

After closing for several months in the spring, the House opened virtually with 360-degree indoor tours. Now, to continue engaging interested patrons, the establishment is turning to outdoor tours.

Titled ‘Walk With Spirits Tour’, the new opportunity is a guided tour around the gardens and grounds of the site. Attendees will hear about former inhabitants and the fabled haunting of the building.

Tours run Wednesday through Sunday, beginning each night at 8 p.m. The tours are on timed tickets to limit the number of attendees per group.

Organizers were clear that the experience is on a linear path, and is compliant with the county’s COVID-19 restrictions. Employees and patrons are required to wear face coverings on site. Guests will also receive a brief health screening before entering the property.
