Winchester Mystery House closes until April 1

Following recent guidance from the Santa Clara Public Health Department, which barred large gatherings and recommended a number of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community, San Jose’s Winchester Mystery has closed until April 1.

The funhouse, itself an architectural marvel, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the leading attractions in the region, welcoming more than 13 million people in its nearly 100 years of tours.

Tour organizers have delayed previously scheduled Flashlight Tours of the home, which were set for March 13 and 14. They are tentatively set for May 15 and 16.
