With cooler evenings and early sunsets, many West Valley families are looking for child-friendly options to keep everyone in the household entertained.
One upcoming option, part of a recurring series of movie showings, is set for this weekend in Santa Clara. Hosted by the Northside Branch Library, 695 Moreland Way, the event is a screening of the recent film Dora and the Lost City of Gold, which is rated PG.
The film, which is a mix of live action and CGI, is an adaptation of the world-renowned cartoon series about Dora the Explorer and her various adventures.
The free event is open to all ages. It is set for Saturday, November 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Organizers recommend registering in advance to secure a seat.
Popcorn will be served as well.
