After a bit of rain across the Bay Area today, Los Gatos is preparing for a warmer Saturday filled with festivities.
The third annual ‘Eat Drink Play’ event comes to the city’s downtown streets Saturday, September 28, with food booths, local craft brewery tastings, and stations from a number of the region’s world-class wineries.
Organized by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, the event covers N. Santa Cruz Ave. between Main and Bachman Streets. In addition to food and drink, local businesses and artisan booths will be set up along the stretch.
The event is family friendly and will include a Kids Zone and Community Stage this year. Live music runs the full length of the festival – beginning at 1 p.m. and lasting until 7 p.m.
Parking in the area will be tight during the event, and organizers recommend walking or carpooling. For those who bike to Eat Drink Play, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will have a bike valet set up.
Eat Drink Play is free to attend. Food can be paid for at each booth, while wine and beer require tokens that are available either at the event or online here.
