As part of the city-led effort to improve sustainability and a green mindset, Cupertino is organizing a massive community-wide garage sale this weekend.
According to the online list, more than 100 homes, apartment complexes, multi-house blocks, and community buildings will have second-hand goods for sale.
The annual sale, set for Saturday and Sunday, September 28 & 29, is a prime opportunity for residents to get rid of unnecessary clutter or items they don’t need or use anymore. It is a great chance to put recycling and low-waste practices into use.

The city suggests that any unsold items be donated to the Cupertino High School Goodwill fundraiser. Information on that donation drive, also happening this weekend, is available here.
