Sunnyvale forum to answer Medicare questions

For adults in their 60s, questions around Medicare coverage can be confusing and daunting. Ensuring that you and your loved ones have the right coverage, given the number of different options available, is something to be taken seriously.

To help West Valley residents wade through these muddy waters, Sutter Health will host an informational event in Sunnyvale this Wednesday, August 21.

The session will feature a licensed insurance agent answering questions about Medicare A, B, and C – including the services covered and the timeline for signing up – as well as inquiries about Medicare Advantage plans available in Santa Clara County.

The event is targeted at those who are newly eligible for Medicare or are thinking about retiring. While online reservation spaces are sold out online, walk-in attendance is welcome.

This forum, similar to one hosted by Sutter earlier this summer, will be held in Sunnyvale at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, 301 Old San Francisco Rd., in the 2nd floor conference room. The session will run from 10 to 11 a.m.
