Santa Clara County to host first LGBT resources summit

For the first time ever, Santa Clara County officials will host a summit to share resources between county staff and community organizations to better serve LGBTQ residents.

The event, set for Friday, June 21, at the Campbell Community Center, 1 W Campbell Ave., will bring together County employees, teachers, and nonprofit group leaders. It is part of Santa Clara County’s ongoing efforts to improve the wellbeing of LGBTQ citizens and families in the region.

Organized by the County’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs, the gathering will feature presentations, a resource fair, discussion panels, and keynote remarks from Dr. Jo Olson and Aydin Olson-Kennedy.

As of publication time, the event is sold out for County Employee spaces. For more information about this inaugural event, click here.
