Home composting workshop set for Sunnyvale

This weekend, Sunnyvale residents can learn what it takes to successfully compost at home.

The UC Cooperative Extension Composting Education Program will host its next Home Composting Class at Sunnyvale’s Murphy Park Building, 250 N. Sunnyvale Ave., on Saturday, June 8.

The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This class will teach residents the basics of composting, including how to build compost piles and worm bins. Attendees will also learn how to apply the compost in their own landscapes and gardens.

Sunnyvale residents who attend can buy a compost bin following the class.
