Cupertino’s home composting education series continues this weekend.
The UC Cooperative Extension Composting Education Program will host its next Home Composting Class at McClellan Ranch Reserve, 22221 McClellan Rd., on Saturday, June 1.
The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This class will teach residents the basics of composting, including how to build compost piles and worm bins. Attendees will also learn how to apply the compost in their own landscapes and gardens.
Recycling and Waste Reduction Commission of Santa Clara County is sponsoring this series of events.
Cupertino residents who attend are eligible to receive a free compost bin. Please contact environmental@cupertino.org to schedule a delivery.
