Pumpkin Days: A Harvest Celebration for Families

Location: CuriOdyssey Science Playground & Zoo—1651 Coyote Point Drive, San Mateo

Dates: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. through the end of October (closes at 3:00 p.m. on Oct. 31)

This immersive fall experience includes a pumpkin patch, jack-o-lanterns, Halloween-themed science experiments, animal ambassadors, and more! It’s included with admission to CuriOdyssey, and costumes are welcome. Tickets can be reserved here.

All Hallows’ Eve at Winchester Mystery House

Location: 525 S. Winchester Blvd, San Jose

This special seasonal event is open on select nights through Oct. 31, featuring the Lost in The House Tour theatrical paranormal adventure, as well as a Jack O’ Lantern Trail in the Victorian gardens. History Park’s Halloween Haunt Light Show

Location: 635 Phelan Avenue, San Jose

Dates: Every weekend in October, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This family-friendly Halloween event features a Haunted Light Show, a Pumpkin Patch, Spooky Graveyard, food trucks, Halloween treats, and more fun activities. Light shows take place at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 p.m. Click here to learn more and book tickets.

Monster Bash

Location: Rengstorff Park—201 S. Rengstorff Ave, Mountain View

Date: Oct. 30, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This event, organized by the City of Mountain View, features Halloween-themed activities including a Twisty Maze, Spooktacular Inflatables, Ghoulish Games, Zombie Dash: Cake Walk, Bubble Show, Stilt Walkers and a Roaming Magician, Dia De Los Muertos Ofrenda and Crafts, music, and more! Halloween Haunt at California’s Great America

Location: 4071 Great America Pkwy, Santa Clara

Dates: Select nights through Oct. 31

Family Fun Night: Drive-Thru Trick-Car-Treat Event

Location: Bridges Community Church—625 Magdalena Ave, Los Altos

Date: Oct. 29, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This annual event is free for the public, and offers a COVID-safe way to kick off the Halloween weekend! Perfect for families, this costume-friendly event will feature decorate cars and drive-by trick-or-treating. Learn more here.

Halloween Family Movie Night at Purissima Park

Location: Purissima Park—27500 Purissima Road, Los Altos Hills

Date: Oct. 29, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This fun family event features an outdoor screening of Addams Family (Animated), with popcorn and Halloween-themed handouts. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, flashlight, and your costume! RSVP here.

Dead Time Dreams Haunted Attractions

Location: 2300 Eastridge loop on the Tully side of the Mall by Wells Fargo Bank (San Jose)

Dates: Oct. 28-31, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
