Sunnyvale hosting Emergency Preparedness event Sunday

With another brutal fire season continuing, and a round of recent earthquakes providing some reminders for residents about that ever-present threat, many West Valley residents are thinking about emergency and disaster preparedness.

Sunnyvale’s Department of Public Safety, 700 All America Way, will run the free session at the Department’s office on Sunday, November 3.

The session will run from 2 to 5 p.m. and attendees are advised to arrive at least fifteen minutes in advance for parking and sign-in.

Attendees will learn how to prepare for emergencies and disasters in the situation where emergency personnel may be unavailable for hours or days following a major event.

Organizers will also cover information on how to prepare your family and your home, as well as what to prioritize in the preparedness process.

Space is limited and attendees are encouraged to reserve a space. For more information on this event, and to reserve a spot, click here.
