For families looking to encourage young readers in their house, an event this weekend in Sunnyvale promises to bring excitement to books for all attendees.
The Bay Area Kids Book Fair is holding its fourth annual event on Saturday, October 19, with a range of activities, including storytelling, LEGO Brick building, meet and greets with costumed characters, and more.
Held at Fremont High School, 1279 Sunnyvale-Saratoga Rd. in Sunnyvale, the first 200 hundred families in the door will receive a free book bag. Vendors will also be on hand with information and resources related to education and reading.
This event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to attend.
