Getting in on the big fandoms that surround comic books and the in-depth stories and narratives they tell, Santa Clara is hosting its own comic con-type event.
The gathering, set for Saturday, October 12th, will feature local artists, comic book shops, cosplay, authors, and game users.
Panels and signings, as well as workshops, anime screenings, and crafts, will provide entertainment for the whole crowd.
Dana Simpson, creator of ‘Phoebe and her Unicorn,’ and cosplayer Vampy are the featured guests.
The event is free to attend and begins at 10 a.m., running until 4 p.m.
Santa Clara City Library, 2635 Homestead Rd., will host the comic con.
