Cupertino’s fall bike festival set for Saturday

Following the recent approval of the Regnart Creek Trail improvements and extension, two Cupertino organizations are teaming up for their 6th-annual fall bike festivities.

The Fall Family Bike Fest, sponsored by Cupertino Safe Routes 2 School and the Bicycle Pedestrian Commission, is this Saturday, September 28.

The gathering will feature bike checks, a food truck, bike vendors, clinics, demonstrations, and other fun activities for the whole family. Additionally, two guided rides will depart at 10:30 a.m. And a rodeo section will feature a skills course to reach young cyclists how to ride safely.

Clinics throughout the day will focus on safety and how to make quick repairs to your bike – including how to fix a flat on the go. Contests, decorating, and face painting will keep everyone entertained.

The events kick off at 9 a.m. and run through 1 p.m. Fall Bikes Fest is held in Cupertino City Hall’s parking lot, 10300 Torre Ave.
