First-time homebuyer sessions continue in Sunnyvale

A series of information sessions targeted at first-time homebuyers continues this week in Sunnyvale. With the cost of housing continuing to be a pressing issue for so many in the West Valley region, these workshops can provide much-needed resources and answers.

Hosted by the City of Sunnyvale’s Housing Division, these events focus specifically on helping first-time homebuyers with low and moderate incomes.

Attendees will hear about the city’s down payment assistance efforts and the below market rate (BMR) units in the area.

Real estate professionals and lenders will also be on hand to answer questions. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of a session and late arrivals will not be allowed in.

This week’s workshop is set for Thursday, September 12, at 6 p.m. lasting for an hour. Sunnyvale City Hall’s Council Chambers, 456 West Olive Ave., will host the gathering.

Other upcoming sessions in the series include Tuesday, October 15th at 12 noon.
