The cost of housing is a constant source of discussion across West Valley communities.
To help first-time homebuyers with low and moderate incomes, the City of Sunnyvale is hosting workshops to provide advice and tips.
Attendees will hear about the city’s down payment assistance efforts and the below market rate (BMR) units in the area.
Real estate professionals and lenders will also be on hand to answer questions. Late arrivals will not be allowed into the session.
The first workshop is set for Thursday, June 13, at 6 p.m. lasting for an hour. Sunnyvale City Hall’s Council Chambers, 456 West Olive Ave., will serve as the backdrop.
Other upcoming sessions in the series include Tuesday, August 30, at 12 p.m., and Thursday, September 12, at 6 p.m.
