The tech industry has had a notoriously difficult time increasing the number of women working in its ranks.
But one event is hoping to shine a light on female leaders in one tech field, showing other women how to get into the industry.
FoundHER, an organization “created by individuals who want to better support our female founders by building a global network of investors, mentors, and entrepreneurs,” is hosting the forum set for Wednesday, August 14, running from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The Women in Fintech event will feature keynote speeches from successful women in the financial technology – or Fintech – field, highlighting how to get venture capital funding and grow a business.
Sunnyvale’s Plug and Play Tech Center, 440 North Wolfe Rd., will host the forum, which will also feature a food and networking event.
