Taking advantage of the warmer weather and evening light, Los Gatos is kicking off its Summer Block Party series next Thursday, June 20.
The party, hosted by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, will include live music at Town Plaza Park, 147 W Main St., from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Following that, a DJ will play on Grays Lane where local wines and beers from Loma Brewing Company will be available for purchase.
More than 20 plein air painters will be displaying their artistic talents at various locations downtown until 7:30 p.m.
Businesses along N Santa Cruz and University Avenues will be open later into the evening for the festivities.
Activities and games for younger attendees will keep the family entertained throughout the evening.
