Mountain View’s Concerts on the Plaza series continues Friday

Mountain View Civic Center Plaza

With the end of the school year right around the corner, summer concert season is back.

Mountain View’s annual Concerts on the Plaza series has been underway since early April, but the next event is set for Friday, May 17, where Roem Baur will be the featured musical entertainment.

According to his Facebook page, Bauer is a San Francisco-based singer songwriter who gained prominence through his appearance on Season 7 of NBC’s The Voice. He has also appeared on the ‘main city stage’ at Super Bowl 50, in addition to a number of international touring performances.

The Concerts on the Plaza series takes place the first and third Fridays of each month, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. According to the City’s website, a food truck and a pop-up park area with beer and wine will also be on the plaza.

For families looking for a more children’s specific music event, KidStock, Mountain View’s music festival series for kids returns to the plaza on Saturday, May 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

All Concerts on the Plaza and KidStock events are held on the Civic Center Plaza in front of Mountain View City Hall, 500 Castro Street.
