Following a rainy winter, and a particularly devastating 2018, fire season is rapidly approaching.
To help ensure families are ready if a disaster strikes, the City of Cupertino will hold a Fire Emergency Preparedness Workshop on May 19.
The workshop will provide planning and training resources for local families.
According to the city’s website, “Emergencies are scary and can happen at any time, but with a little planning and training your family can be better prepared to handle one.”
The workshop is free for the public to attend. It will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Cupertino’s City Hall, located at 10300 Torre Avenue.
Residents wanting to RSVP should email city staff at KennethE@Cupertino.org or call 408-777-3176.
