The West Valley community is encouraged to visit Britannia Arms, 1087 S. De Anza Blvd., on Sept. 30 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. to support a local woman who is battling Leukemia.
According to a GoFundMe page, Melody was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in August and is undergoing her first round of chemotherapy. This event will help alleviate the financial stress Melody and her family face, and is an opportunity to come together as a community to support a family in need.
The entry fee to Britannia Arms is $20, which includes one drink of choice per attendee. There will be raffle tickets sold, a beer pong tournament, a photo booth, a DJ and more that evening.
All proceeds from the entry fee will be donated directly to Melody, and 10 percent of all sales from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. will be donated from Britannia Arms directly to her as well.
Friends and family are welcome to attend this fundraiser.
