Conductor Kim Venaas and the California Pops Orchestra are coming to Flint Center, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., for three separate shows on Jan. 28, March 25 and May 20 all at 3 p.m.  

The California Pops Orchestra performs music from Broadway, Hollywood and the Big Band era. The Orchestra will perform “Broadway Meets Hollywood” on Jan. 28, a show consisted of Tony and Oscar award-winning scores and songs, “Pops’ Radio Music Hall” on March 25, celebrating the Golden Age of Radio, and “American Jubilee” on May 20, the final show of the Pops’ 29th seasons, featuring music from great American composers.

According to the Orchestra’s website California Pops is “the nation’s only all-request Pops orchestra”, always looking to entertain you and your family at a fun show with music from the full range of the popular music repertoire.
