The Cupertino Pediatric Dentistry collected a whopping 314.5 pounds of Halloween candy during its annual buy-back event that ran from Wednesday to Friday of last week.
Patients who brought their unopened candy received $2 per pound for a maximum of $10 during the candy buy-back event. They were also entered into a grand prize drawing.
The best part is what ends up happening with that candy. All of it is donated to Operation Care & Comfort, an organization supporting our military members overseas and veterans at home.
Although Cupertino Pediatric Dentistry did not beat last year’s total of bought-back candy, it was grateful to patients who participated.
