Drivers beware — the City of Cupertino will be repaving a portion of the roadway along Stevens Creek Boulevard from Oct. 15 to Nov. 10, which may result in uneven road surfaces.
The city urges caution and asks drivers and bicyclists to use alternative routes during the construction period.
Roadwork will occur between Perimeter Road and Stern Avenue, and Wolfe Road between Stevens Creek and Vallco Parkway. The schedule of work is subject to change due to equipment and weather conditions.
Below is a breakdown of anticipated work.
Phase I
October 15 – 20
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Intersection and side street conform paving and isolated patching
Phase II
October 22-27
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Final rubber asphalt overlay application
Phase III
October 30 – November 10
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Traffic signal loops installation and lane striping.
