Cupertino maps encourage students to walk or bike to school

Need to find the best way to get to school by bike or your own two feet? Check out these maps.

The City of Cupertino has created maps that provide local students guidance on the best routes to reach their schools without the use of a vehicle.

The maps highlight suggested routes, travel times, locations of stop signs, crosswalks, traffic and more to ensure the safety of Cupertino students and families making their way to school.

They are part of a Safe Routes 2 School program launched in summer 2016 that in part aims to reverse the decline in students walking and bicycling to schools.
