The recent Cupertino Run For Great Schools raised more than $40,000 to boost the music program at Cupertino Union School District and had a record breaking 1,100 runners in its 5K event.

Also impressive, the ages of the runners and walkers ranged from one to 101. All proceeds went to the One Note at a Time Campaign, benefitting the TK – 8th grade music program.

The male and female overall winners of the race are Nick Sigmon, 31, with a 4:59 minute mile and Sherry Lee, 35, with a 6:18 minute mile.
