Cupertino community centers aim to keep residents safe during heat wave

Labor Day weekend is upon us and the heat wave is in full effect. To ensure the safety of Cupertino residents, the city has decided to keep the Quinlan Community Center and Cupertino Senior Center open for those who need an escape from the outdoors.

The facilities will be open throughout the weekend and the Labor Day holiday. All are welcome, including pets.

The updated dates and times for the weekend are below.

Quinlan Community Center: Friday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cupertino Senior Center: Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
