A Cupertino woman and co-founder of the Chinese Performing Arts of America died Friday after spending two weeks hospitalized following a mysterious confrontation, police said.
Ann Woo, 75, was near a bubble tea restaurant in the 6100 block of Bollinger Road around 3 p.m. Aug. 11, when “some type of physical altercation” occurred, according to San Jose Police Department. Officers responded to a fire aid call at nearly 3:15 p.m.
Homicide investigators are looking into the case. The cause of Woo’s death will remain unknown until an autopsy is completed, police said.
