The community is encouraged to register for a 5k/Fun Run event in Cupertino on Aug. 26 that aims to bolster music programs at the Cupertino Union School District.
The Cupertino Educational Endowment Foundation’s 3rd annual “Run for Great Schools” will take place at Memorial Park, 21255 Stevens Creek Blvd. The 5K race starts at 8:30 a.m. and the Fun Run begins at the finish line about 9:15 a.m.
Participants are encouraged to bring any instruments to the donation drive to benefit the music program.
The Fun Run is for children 6 years old and under and costs $15, while the 5K run is for all levels at $35.
