Run, walk or cheer-on participants at the 3rd Annual “Run for Great Schools” 5K and Fun Run sponsored by the Cupertino Educational Endowment Foundation (CEEF) on Aug. 26 at Memorial Park. All net proceeds from the event will benefit the thousands of students enrolled in the Cupertino Union School District.
The 5K course begins at 8:30 a.m. at Memorial Park then loops around Garden Gate Elementary School, Homestead High School and the Don Burnett Bridge before coming to an end near the Oaks Shopping Center. Check out the course map below for more details.
The children’s Fun Run will start at the Finish Line around 9:15-9:30 a.m. Awards and a raffle will close out the festivities.
Online registration closes at midnight on Aug. 24, but participants are encouraged to register by Aug. 15 to receive a race t-shirt. Late registration is available the day-of from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
