The Cupertino High School Future Business Leaders of American chapter (CHS FBLA) will host “Cupertino’s Global Village,” a student-led multicultural event on February 1 at the Quinlan Community Center. This free public event is scheduled from 3 to 6 P.M. and is designed to highlight the city’s cultural diversity.
The Global Village multicultural showcase will feature student-run booths with traditional art, food samples, and live performances, as well as a 12-foot collaborative mural representing the “Faces of Cupertino.” Attendees of all ages will be invited to add their own brushstrokes, creating a large-scale art piece that captures the vibrancy and diversity of the city.
Organizers say their goal is simple: to bring residents together in a positive space centered on culture, creativity, and community pride. From music and dance to handcrafted cultural pieces, each booth offers a glimpse into the heritage of the students and families who call Cupertino home.
CHS FBLA students have coordinated every element including programming, community outreach, design, logistics, and cultural storytelling, demonstrating how young people are shaping civic life and helping define a modern, inclusive Cupertino, according to organizers.
