For many teenagers, major financial decisions are fraught with lack of information or clear understanding. Cupertino is launching a series of financial preparedness sessions to equip teens with basics of financial management and decision-making.
The three-event series begins this weekend, with a second event in November, and a third in January.
“You will learn about financial institutions and the products and services offered to manage your money. You will find out what credit is, what a credit score is, and learn the basics of how to manage your money and make good money decisions,” the city’s announcement said in describing the events.
