Free symphony Saturday in San Jose

The Cambrian Symphony, currently in its fifth season, is performing a free show this weekend, showing off its artistry for the community.

This weekend’s concert, set for Saturday, February 1, features pieces from Gershwin, Prokofiev, and Stravinsky. It is titled ‘Rites of Passage.’

Kicking off at 7:30 p.m., the show runs until approximately 9:30 p.m.

Hammer Theatre, 101 Paseo De San Antonio in San Jose, is hosting the performance.

Admission is free, though advanced registration is required. Once in the venue, the show is open seating. The symphony is asking for donations, with a suggested level of $25 per attendee, which can be made in cash or credit card at the concert or online.
