With the Lunar New Year coming up quickly on January 25, one local group is getting a head start on the celebrations.
Santa Clara’s Northside Branch Library, 695 Moreland Way, is hosting a Lunar New Year event on Saturday, January 11, with performances and activities for the whole family.
Kicking off at 10 a.m., the event will feature two lion dances and a performance by the Crystal Jade Choir before wrapping up at 12:30 p.m.
Performances will take place in front of the library building, if weather permits.
The celebrations will bring in the year of the rat.
