As part of its ongoing holiday events, Cupertino Rotary is set to hold its annual luncheon for seniors this week.
The gathering, which brings together community members from across the city, is a tradition that helps kick off the last few weeks before Christmas.
Partner organizations, including Live Oak, Rebuilding Together, West Valley Community Services, Forum, and Sunnyview, have identified approximately 35 seniors for the luncheon, which Cupertino Rotarians staff and financially support.
“The Senior Holiday Luncheon is a community partnership and opportunity to welcome seniors into our Rotary Fellowship featuring great food and entertainment, like no other event they will attend all year,” said Henry Buffalow, Cupertino Rotary’s Community Services Chair.
The luncheon will feature a performance by the Monte Vista High School Choir and community building discussions at each table.
This year’s event, set for Wednesday, December 11, comes after Rotary partnered with West Valley Community Services on its annual Gift of Hope program.
