Guided nature walk Saturday in Cupertino

As part of the ongoing ‘Join a Ranger’ series, a free walk and talk through Blackberry Farm’s open space is set for this weekend in Cupertino.

The nature walk, set for Saturday, October 12th, will focus in on the native plants and animals found in the region, with a unique look at yellow jackets and paper wasps. The route is approximately a mile long.

Attendees should meet at the Blackberry Farm Windmill at 3 p.m. with the walk lasting until 4:30 p.m.

Saturday’s gathering is the second of four in this series, following a previous set of events this spring. Other ranger-led events include a night walk on Saturday, November 9, and one focused on Wild Plants on Sunday, December 1.

According to organizers, the series was “designed to educate and entertain.”
