Climate change workshop Tuesday in Santa Clara

Do you want to know more about the scientific evidence behind climate change, how we can address carbon emissions, and what you as an individual can do to cut your carbon footprint?

If so, Santa Clara has the event for you. On Tuesday evening, September 3, the city is hosting a workshop to answer these questions and more.

The event will begin with a discussion of climate change and its potential impacts. The second part will discuss revenue neutral carbon pricing as a way to reduce carbon emissions. To close the evening, Sudhanshu Jain will discuss approaches for individuals to cut their own carbon footprints.

Jain serves on Santa Clara’s Planning Commission and is a board member at several local companies.

The Central Park Library, 2635 Homestead Rd., will host the workshop that is set to run from 6 to 7 p.m.
