A free event showing off the best of Bollywood is set for Saratoga this weekend. Bollywood – the India-based Hindi-language cinema industry – often features elaborate clothing, music, and dancing.
The community celebration of this unique art heritage will highlight these aspects and more in a family-friendly event, featuring food trucks, vendors, and many performances.
Bollywood in the Park, organized by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, is set for Saturday, August 24th beginning at 11 a.m. and running until 5 p.m.
Wildwood Park, 14460 Big Basin Way, in Saratoga will host the festivities. Be sure to bring sunscreen and a water bottle as Saturday’s forecast is for the upper 80s with sunshine.
