Local arts group, Starting Arts, is set to start another run of performances in the West Valley when it brings renowned musical RENT to the stage in Campbell.
Performances, which run Friday July 26 through Sunday July 28, will be at the Starbright Theater, 1770 West Campbell Ave., in Campbell.
RENT, which debuted on Broadway in 1996 follows a group of young artists struggling to make their way through New York City in the early 1990s. It ran on Broadway for more than 12 years, has toured the country in a number of occasions, and became a feature film.
According to its website, Starting Arts began in 2000 and “provides hands-on arts experience in 4 disciplines (dance, music, theatre and visual arts) in classes taught by skilled professional artists eager to share their expert knowledge and passion with students.”
