As part of its ongoing efforts to address overcrowding in houses, the City of Santa Clara is set to host an additional community meeting about potential zoning code changes.
At this community meeting, the city will present information from its April 29th Zoning Code Update meeting. According to city information, discussion topics will include “more precisely creating limits on the number of individuals who can occupy a residence” and “creating a minimum required percentage of total common habitable area.”
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Santa Clara City Hall, 1500 Warburton Ave.
If you are unable to attend in person, the city will livestream the meeting on its YouTube and Facebook pages.
