The Santa Clara County Fire Department wants to prepare you and your family in the case of a wildfire.
The Santa Clara County Fire Department and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office have partnered to create the Ready, Set, Go program to educate the community about wildfire preparedness.
The Wildfire Preparedness Community Meeting will take place on May 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Monta Vista High School, 21840 McClellan Road.
The meeting is designed to teach the community how to get homes ready in the event of a wildfire, how to create an action plan, and take the necessary evacuation steps to give households the best chance of survival.
The Wildfire Preparedness Community Meeting is one of several wildfire preparedness meetings that residents are welcome to register and attend.
