Tax assistance available at Cupertino Library

Tax season can be stressful, but the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is here to help.

For the next four Sunday’s, VITA tax volunteers will be available from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cupertino Library, 10800 Torre Ave., to help people file their taxes on a first come, first served basis. The following documents are encouraged for best results: All W-2, 1098, 1099 and SSA forms; Social Security cards or ITIN numbers and birth-dates for all persons included on your return; bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit of refund; and 2017 tax return.

If you are unable to attend the March 17 session, there are additional ones on March 24, 31 and April 7.
