Cupertino residents invited to Community Poetry Night

Tickets are available for Community Poetry Night on Feb. 28 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Cupertino Library, 10800 Torre Ave.

Community Poetry Night is part of Silicon Valley Reads, an annual community program that selects books focused on a contemporary theme with associated free events throughout Santa Clara County.

Poetry Night will begin with an introduction from Cupertino Poet Laureate Kacey McCormick. Poetry from invited speakers will follow. Participants will then be invited to share, listen and enjoy poetry from the community. Open mic readers are encouraged to sign in upon arrival.
